– 1 1/8 cup (6oz) hulled, quartered
– 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
– 2 Tbsp lowfat vanilla yogurt
– 1 Tbsp 2% milk
– 2 Tbsp sugar
First, make the strawberry layer
Combine strawberries and lemon juice in a blender and puree until smooth. Using a fine mesh sieve, strain the mixture into a medium bowl (using a spoon to scrape the sieve so it goes through faster). You should have about 2/3 cup (5 1/2 oz) of the strained mixture. Whisk in yogurt, milk, and sugar until sugar has dissolved.
Freeze the strawberry layer
Insert stick into the pop maker holds and pour strawberry layer halfway up the mood (using abut 2 Tbsp per pop). Immediately tilt the pop maker on a slight angle and hold it tilted for 1 minute. Then set it down flat and let freeze completely.
– 3/4 cup (6oz) mashed ripe banana, (peel should have some black spots)
– 2 Tbsp 2% milk
– 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
– 1 Tbsp sugar
Then make the banana layer
Combine the banana layer ingredients in blender and puree until smooth and sugar has dissolved.
And freeze the banana layer
Pour banana layer into the prepared pop maker holds until you reach the fill line. Let freeze completely, then remove the pops with the Super Tool and enjoy! Repeat with remaining pops. Yield 6.
