I love my Klean Kanteen and when the whole Sigg/BPA thing came out, deep down I had this “I told you so” smug kinda feeling. However, despite my love for my faithful, safe and sturdy water bottle, I do enjoy hot beverages. So this is the draw back, even with a neoprene sleeve, you should not put hot liquids in the KK.
KK is rumored to be coming out with the double wall version. It will keep your tea/coffee/soup warm. I cannot wait .
It is going to be great for hikers, road warriors, VIA starbuck lovers ( you know who you are), mothers that need hot water for formula, instant ramen noodle lovers ( now you can cook them in your car)…etc.
